Prewash This includes high-pressure water cleaning and scrubbing of hand scrubs, if necessary, to eliminate loose scale and dirt. In the event of severe scaling or fouling, high pressure steam cleaning will subsequently follow.
Electric blasting For rigid fouling that is insoluble in acidic or corrosive solutions, powder spraying is used with high pressure steam or water.
Chemical bath VGH serves more than half a million plates each year, most of which use a range of proprietary chemicals depending on the application of the heat exchanger. A carefully selected process of changing chemicals, temperature and agitation ensures the most effective cleaning process. It is not always possible to obtain the desired result by using only one specific solution, and sometimes in a stirred acid solution for several hours, it must be extended in a high temperature caustic solution for a period of time.
Liquid nitrogen A two-component epoxy-bonded gasket is immersed in liquid nitrogen to break the bond and eradicate stubborn glue. For other types of stubborn scaling, the preferred method is liquid nitrogen immersion. We have discovered and improved this method and it is still proprietary to our board cleaning process.
